Victoria Point Adventist Residential Care residence is situated in bayside surroundings close to the beautiful islands of Moreton Bay and just minutes from the thriving local Victoria Point shopping and business district. Situated a short driving distance away are the Redland Public and Private Hospitals located in Cleveland.
Co-located on-site with our independent living units, our large Victoria Point residential facility offers 179 residential places, with 9 of those dedicated for residents with memory impairment and dementia. Family and loved ones are welcome to visit as valuable members of our community and partners with us in the care relationship with residents.

Mum was very much loved by all of us and we can never repay the kindness, dignity and love that mum was given at Adventist by all her special carers and yourself. I wish I knew how to spell and pronounce all their names, but I can’t and I always had to ask mum what’s his/her name, and she just rattled them off so easily. I loved how mum knew everyone and interacted with them so well and they with her, all of you were her favourites.
I was pleased that Jay RN (again spelling probably not right) was on duty on her last night, she was very fond of him and they had many, many laughs together, mostly about hair colour – his and hers 😊. Jay was extremely kind to me in those last hours and wonderful and caring with mum to make sure her parting was calm, dignified and peaceful. I could mention a few others by name, so would you please pass on my thanks to all her special ones, and they will know who they are – some names I know are Kuhl, Peyton, Raj, and the little one who had a baby girl last year and has now come back to work, Sandra, Dawn, Rochelle, David, the lady who does the cooking classes, but many, many more I am sure.
Stuart and I didn’t go and see Jean or Daphne, as we were both too upset yesterday after emptying mum’s room, so would you please say thank you to them, on our behalf, for being a friend to mum and always being so thoughtful and kind to her.
Sarah, this has been so much harder than I ever imagined it would be, to say goodbye to mum but we are all so very happy that all her time at Adventist was a blessing to her and us. In her little journal under the title of “what are you grateful for”
She wrote the words – “I’m grateful for being here” and she did embrace her life with all of you, so again thank you.
