Hi,
It would seem Murphy’s Law has struck again, no sooner had I sent out my latest COVID-19 update and we received an email that it was likely there would be a change to the list of restricted local government areas today. This morning the Gold Coast Council local government area has been removed from the list of restricted areas in Queensland. This is great news as it means we are able to recommence visits at Melody Park and are confident in doing so given there have been no new reported community transmissions of COVID-19 in the Gold Coast or Logan areas for the last two weeks.
Given this change commenced today and to give our team time to implement the processes and procedures necessary to ensure that we manage visits correctly we will be taking bookings for visits to re-commence on Monday the 21st of September. You can call Melody Park reception from today to make your bookings which will be available between the hours of 10am and 2pm 7 days per week from Monday.
Our team will continue using approved cloth masks when they are unable to maintain the recommended social distancing and we would encourage those of you planning on visiting to do the same. Please remember that booking a time to visit is essential and that bookings should be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Thanks for working with us as we re-open and we really appreciate your patience as we navigate these times of rapid change.
Regards,
Eric Anderson
